an assembly of believers in the
Lord Jesus Christ

Welcome to Hope Bible Chapel's website.

Verse of the Day---
  • Hebrews 11:6
'But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. '

Faith | Hope | Love

Faith - Dear person of faith, yes, that's you, that's us, that's everyone! Everyone believes something, and that's what faith is. The question is what does one believe, where has one placed one's faith, and in whom is one trusting for their spiritual health and welfare? Eternity is not to be messed around with-it's a LONG TIME! We believe what the Bible says about our need to have our trust well-placed, and not misplaced! If what's at stake is truly a life or death situation (which it is: after our life we die), we've got to get the issue of sin dealt with in THIS life before we die. You see, sin is the very thing we deserve to die for-we stand guilty before God because of our sin. But righteousness-being pardoned and judicially declared "not guilty"-comes through faith in the perfect Person and work of Jesus Christ. Why not repent of your sins and believe that Jesus Christ died to save you from hell? Haven't you resisted long enough? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!

Hope - Dear Visitor to this site, we want you to know that there IS hope! Even if life seems to be crumbling around you, there is hope! Trials in your family with children, parents, or spouses? There is hope! Personal, private struggles? There is hope! Troubles on the job? There is hope! There is hope for the difficulties of this life and for all eternity! Hope is such a wonderful thing because it gives meaning to life today and purpose for tomorrow. At one time, we who are writing to you were ourselves without hope and without God in this world. Many of us had some form of religion, but it offered no hope because it all depended on us. How could hope depend on the hopeless?!? How could help depend on the helpless?!? When asked if we were going to heaven, we could only say that we hoped so. But just "hoping so" isn't really any hope at all, and it won't get you to heaven! What we need is a hope that is certain, guaranteed. That's when we discovered that the Bible says that Christ is our hope. He died for hopeless and helpless sinners, ones unable to save themselves. Over the years since Christ's death on Calvary's cross, many have believed in what He did, yet many others haven't. The choice is yours. But now you know that He gives meaning and purpose to our life, for today, tomorrow, and for all eternity-and He longs to do the same for you!

Love - "Love is the deepest need of the human heart. Rare is the person who doesn't truly long for a safe, committed love relationship with another, able to share the closest sense of commitment and companionship. Incredibly, God has, by an act of the will, chosen to love rebellious man and offer him His very Best: His very own Son! The Bible says that God IS love, and that He has put His love on display. How? In that while people were yet sinners, at enmity with Him, Christ died for them! A song writer once had this to say about God's dealings with men: "Amazing pity, grace untold, and love beyond degree!" It's sad, isn't it, that so many people are, as another songwriter once said, "looking for love in all the wrong places." Furthermore, how can we expect peace and love to prevail on this planet when we know full well what's in the heart of man? Dear reader, consider your ways, consider your heart, and turn to the One Who looks on your heart, sees you as you are, and has your best interest at heart. Oh how He loves you and me! In fact, God SO loved the world that He gave his only-begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!"
